51/18/2 is currently the favored spec for mutilate with the deadly poison change of 3.3 for the additional haste for DP/IP procs (and extra attacks during Master Poisoner buff).

What glyphs do you use on your character for PvE and PvP and why?

Glyph of Mutilate - standard. 5 energy saved for each mutilate, more energy reserved for kicks, refreshing HFB, envenom.

Glyph of Hunger for Blood - 3% overall damage increase for HFB, yes please!

Glyph of Tricks of the Trade - 4 seconds of additional threat (especially with the 2 piece tier 10 giving us energy per tricks usage) at pull and 4 more seconds of 15% damage per usage is too useful to give up. I've read that this glyph can be replaced with Glyph of Fan of Knives for the additional damage on heroic Anub'arak.

Please link 2-3 WWS/WMO/WoL reports from multiple raid nights in your previous guild. Are there any abnormalities in these reports? Please explain. Note: If your guild does not use one of these systems, please create a free account and take some logs for us.

Not exactly my preference of a parse, but at least I have one for now. I did try to Fraps the encounter but it exploded on me when I started AoEing the whelps.

Here is a parse of a few failed attempts at 25man Lady Deathwhisper. For the first few attempts I was mutilate and was set on the boss to burn the shield. Not a good idea, but I did as told. For the later few I switched to combat to help with adds along with trying other strategies. There obviously was just not enough dps, people weren't focus firing and a few just kept dying.

What professions does your main character(s) have? Why did you choose them?

Engineering and Jewelcrafting. I chose engineering as my Wrath profession because of the nifty toys (lightning generator crits for 4k+, rocket boots, parachute, rocket gloves) and it proves to be a fun profession to have. It may not be optimal for DPS, but the Hyperspeed Accelerators are a handy cooldown to have.

Back during the BC release, I picked up jewelcrafting to try something new. Today's Jewelcrafting is standardized with the rest of the professions.

What is your particular playstyle and why? Do you have any specific ability rotations that you use?

I can't say there is anything too special about rogue dps. I use my cooldowns aggressively and it pays dividends in DPS. As for rotation, I envenom whenever I'm at 4+ combo points, and try to "hold" my envenom until the previous Master Poisoner buff fades, unless my energy is going to cap.

What guilds were you in previously and why did you leave? Who can we talk to in these guilds as a reference?

Ruin - This guild is pretty much dead. A few of those still playing transferred servers or faction transferred to alliance. If you need to get a hold of them I can visit their forums and ask for someone to be a reference.

TPS Reports - My first foray into Wrath raiding. They willingly accepted my poorly geared mage and help me set foot into Ulduar. A bit of drama occurred and destroyed the guild, but I owe them my thanks.

What is your raiding experience? How long have you been a full-time raider?

I started playing in Vanilla but didn't raid full-time until TBC. During vanilla I knocked out ZG/AQ20/MC and only a bit of BWL.

During TBC I have cleared everything T4/T5 as a holy priest (Kael after first or second nerf, can't remember. Reduced hp on advisors i believe, far before 3.0). I took a hiatus from raiding due to guild drama and transferred servers after. I spent my time on Kil'Jaeden thereafter with Concordis and cleared Hyjal 4/5 and BT to 4/9 (I think Gurtogg was the 4th boss) before I left to catch up with school.

My raiding experience in Wrath seems very limited, as I have not done anything challenging when it was, as I never really had the opportunity. I'm most proud of my Yogg-25 kill with Ruin because it was a fairly challenging fight for a normal-mode boss (before nerf) compared to the rest of available Wrath content. I also came late to this expansion because I wasn't decided on a character. My first 80 was a paladin on Kil'Jaeden but I sold that account along with my priest for money to pay for insurance, because I just got my license at the time and I really wanted to drive. Then I reactivated my old account and played my rogue on Korgath for a bit. The server was severely lacking on pugs and I couldn't advance (there were about 5 rogues there for every rogue here it seemed). I then decided to roll a mage here to play with family and raid.

Did you have any special or specific roles in your previous guild's raids?

Not specifically, I was close to Priest class leader at one point, but never quite took the position myself. In Ruin, I was the only mage and found myself frequently evaluating applicants, but there was not a Class Leader system, just raiders and officers.

Why do you want to join TC? Where did you hear about us?

You guys have a raid core of quality people that are dependable, and have a fantastic raid schedule. I hope for a chance to carry the title under my name and contribute to the guild's overall progress. Although you guys have not done ToGC25 your name is just as revered among the top guilds. That is not to say that I'm asking to be carried. Even in pugs I bring my 110% performance to distinguish myself from the rest.

I'm looking to retire from PvP because the current state of wrath pvp is too reliant on zerging and split second life-and-death decisions. I enjoy PvE with a solid group that likes to complete challenging aspects of the game.

TBC - I ran rogue/feral up to early 1900's for duelist
WotLK - 2026 rogue/destro, 2000 mmr spellcleave (never played enough to get team rating up)

I'm on every weekday from 3 server to 10. Weekends I usually spend my time online unless I'm out with friends, but I'm rarely out the whole day. In a few months I'll start logging on at 5:30-5:45 due to RL things.

I would like to claim at 90%+ attendance rate with Ruin but I can't back it up. Same goes for previous guilds, I would have a 85%+ or so attendance rate, and always present for mandatory raids.

I can definitely make 100% consistently except for a few occasions that I come late or am just not home for that day.

As of late I've been enjoying Modern Warfare 2, but for the most part of my online time, I'm either pugging on one of my characters or leveling a new one for fun.

I utilize 1-6, Q, E, F, G, X, ` and add more bars as Shift+"", Ctrl+"" and R, T with the same modifiers. There's also a few more minor binds, but those are for map, keyring, etc.

Please list the most important mods to you. How have you found these mods to be useful?

Bartender and Omen, and in the absence of sUF/Pitbull, Need to Know to track debuff/buffs. For raiding purposes I've been using Deus Vox Encounters. It's a fantastic mod and I'd rate it way above Deadly Boss Mods/BigWigs.
Back when I was healing, there is no way I could live without Grid+Clique. I could use mouseover macros for every single spell, but damn, grid+clique is just amazing.

What is your connection type/speed and what are your computer specs?

I have standard 1.5 mbps / 384 kbps cable (dsl is not an option) that is reliable except for primetime hours on weekends. I won't have fantastic ping but it's still very playable at 200 ms.

Intel Core2Duo E8400 (3.0 ghz dual-core), 4 GB of OCZ-1066 DDR 2, evga 8800 GTS 320mb. A little outdated but runs the game well.

Please list your most-often consumed alcoholic beverages. Do you consume alcohol while raiding? (No, this is not a trick question!)

I have two different clips of attempts on Lady Deathwhisper 25. They're not successful kills but the fault isn't attributed to me (the entire group was lacking dps and I'm not exactly experienced at combat nor am I properly geared/enchanted/gemmed for it since I'm mostly mutilate). -- edit: I uploaded both videos overnight but both of them are stuck at 100% and are not moving nor appearing in my list of uploaded files. I'll try again with just one video tonight.

I'm 17 and still in High School (too much free time on my hands). I do well in school, 3.6 cumulative GPA for my freshman/soph/junior years. I enjoy playing this game and put my effort into whatever I do, gameplay or real life tasks, to make sure I do my job correctly and efficiently.

I also have the worst luck anyone could imagine. I've never seen DST drop on my rogue, yet see it every week on my priest. I've never gotten a trinket upgrade on my mage past Embrace of Spider (hallelujah for Abyssal Rune!), and lost Death's Choice to a DK wearing blues. I consistently rolled below 50 on every Amani Warbear, and have never seen a rare mount drop aside from Rivendare's Charger (which of course, I lost). However these things don't stop me from being a good player. Since at the moment I am limited to pugging, my gear is outdated and is limited to something dropping and winning it (not very likely).

I'll be uploading a Fraps of the first two bosses in ICC25 soon. It really didn't cross my mind to record my combat log for my run at all until after killing Saurfang. I couldn't record gunship because I have quite a bit of fps lag, and I figured Saurfang would be boring to watch.
